Making the regional finals
The regional heats were held at St George's Hall in Liverpool and Mary was put through to the televised heats which were screened on October 14.
In the programme chefs compete on specific courses with 2 chefs battling it out for starter, main course and pudding.
Mary, with her Strawberry Tart was up against a Caribbean coconut crumble.
The judges, Ed Baines, Jilly Goolden and John Burton Race, commented on how well Mary had cooked under the pressure of the studio lights and the quality of the pastry.
Unfortunately Mary did not make it to the National Finals. |
